OUR STORY

“COOKIES THAT TASTE AS GOOD AS THEY LOOK.”

I have made my Granny's sugar cookie recipe for as long as I can remember, but one St. Patrick’s Day several years ago I decided to try some "iced" decorating on top instead of using traditional colored sugars. The result was a batch of little leprechauns that became a huge hit with my family and friends!

Soon after my success with the leprechauns, my daughter persuaded me to bake and decorate cookies as a fundraiser for her "Relay for Life" team. Her school friends quickly dubbed them crack cookies because no one could eat just one! I began receiving requests to make cookies for different occasions. A dear friend encouraged me to get out there and “go public,” because I create cookies that taste as good as they look. Now my hobby has become a growing business, an immensely satisfying expression of my creativity and artistic nature.

I love to bake and decorate cookies for all kinds of occasions, large and small. I also like to share my best tips, techniques and cookie designs through our new online classes. Helping others bring joy to their family and friends remains at the heart of everything we do at Brown Box Cookies. With a little luck and your continued support, we’ll keep doing it for many years to come.
